HOW TO PURCHASE

LeafCoin is available in MetaMask, Trust Wallet, and other similar wallets where “Alt” coins may be purchased, swapped, or traded for Ethereum.

When purchasing cryptocurrency of any sort, it is incumbent upon the purchaser to verify the type of wallet and network or exchange in which coins will be purchased and held, as well as verifying the contract address through which a coin may be purchased.

The official and only contract address for LeafCoin is:

0x2c4eE689C6e04DF2921c305094105F1703c76b5a

Please be sure you enter this address exactly each time you take any action in regard to LeafCoin.

Sample instructions to purchase LeafCoin on MetaMask

1. Install MetaMask on your cellular device (as you would with any other app) or for your computer by choosing the relevant download at https://metamask.io/download/. Installing the MetaMask App or program will allow you to convert from Ethereum (“ETH”) to Alt coins and obtain LeafCoin.
2. Be sure that your MetaMask wallet is set to the Ethereum Network (this is the default).
3. Unless you are using a cash-converting App or service such as MoonPay, you will first have to purchase ETH or another type of base coin (such as USDC, USDT, etc.) in order to “swap” it for LeafCoin (“LEAF”). Once you have ETH or other base coin in your wallet, swap it for LEAF by copying the exact contract address in the appropriate MetaMask screen.
4. Remember to use only this contract address:

5. Note that each platform uses slightly different procedures. Please see links for additional MetaMask (and Trust Wallet) instructions below.
6. Once the swap has been completed, you should see LeafCoin in your wallet. Alternatively, depending upon the platform you are using, you will be prompted to “import the token” into your wallet by re-entering the contract address above in the prompt screen.
7. Note: If you have completed the steps above successfully and don’t see LeafCoin in your wallet, please add the above Leaf contract address to your wallet.

Sample instructions to purchase LeafCoin at leaf-coin.io:

1. Click Buy Now then click Proceed to Uniswap.
2. Now on Uniswap’s site, click on “Buy” in the top left hand corner (after, you should see a window entitled “Buy ETH”).
3. Select the amount of USD (dollars) you wish to use to buy ETH, press “continue,” and you will see the MoonPay cash-conversion service interface.
4. To proceed with your purchase under MoonPay, enter either your preferred email or your Google or Apple sign-in.
5. On the next screen you may be prompted to enter your cell phone number and a “2FA” text message code. If these are new accounts, you may also be required to provide your social security number and a photo of yourself due to federal laws. You must check the regulatory disclosure box after reading it. Note that LeafCoinIO does not collect any of this sensitive information – it is part of the MoonPay and/or wallet program processes.
6. On the next screen you will be prompted to enter your payment card information (debit cards work best) and billing address. You may be asked to confirm a pending deposit in your bank to confirm your identity.
7. Once you have successfully purchased ETH, you can swap it in Uniswap for LeafCoin (“LEAF”). Remember to use only this contract address:

8. Once the swap has been completed, you should see LeafCoin in your wallet. Alternatively, depending upon the platform you are using, you will be prompted to “import the token” into your wallet by re-entering the contract address above in the prompt screen.
9. Note: If you have completed the steps above successfully and don’t see LeafCoin in your wallet, please add the above Leaf contract address to your wallet.

Sample instructions to purchase ETH on Coinbase in order to transfer to Metamask and swap for Leaf:

1. Some individuals may prefer to use a Coinbase account to purchase ETH with USD (dollars). See instructions for creating a Coinbase account: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=txPx72FSrj4.
2. Once you have created a Coinbase account and purchased ETH, you can send it to your MetaMask wallet by copying and pasting your MetaMask public address into the Send menu on Coinbase. As with most cryptocurrency transactions, please note there will likely be network or other transaction fees, and completion of the transaction may take up to several minutes.
3. Once the ETH arrives in your MetaMask wallet, you can swap it for LeafCoin (“LEAF”) using the instructions for MetaMask, above. Remember to use only this contract address:

4. Once the swap has been completed, you should see LeafCoin in your wallet. Alternatively, depending upon the platform you are using, you will beprompted to “import the token” into your wallet by re-entering the contract address above in the prompt screen.
